Jake Desrochers - Founder | Baxter Mortgage 

 With more than 23 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Jake Desrochers brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to helping clients achieve their homeownership goals. After a successful career as a loan officer, Jake founded Baxter Mortgage to provide a more personalized, client-focused approach to mortgage lending. His mission is to make the loan process straightforward, transparent, and tailored to each borrower’s unique needs. 

 A proud Maine native, Jake grew up in Saco and graduated from Thornton Academy. He continues to reside in his hometown with his wife, Jamie, where they are raising their six children. Deeply rooted in his community, Jake enjoys spending much of his free time supporting his children’s athletic activities and exploring the outdoors. 

 When he’s not working with clients, Jake can often be found enjoying Maine’s natural beauty—whether hiking, golfing, or fishing on the water. His passion for helping others and his appreciation for the Maine lifestyle are at the heart of Baxter Mortgage’s values and customer-first approach.
